Event description

Join us for a moving evening of storytelling and performance as women’s lived experiences with housing and home, stories from the audience, are brought to life on stage—improvised in the moment by the Tell Tales Collective.

How does house and neighbourhood design influence lived experience, relationship with the environment, community, neighbours? How does it shape home life? Might the places we live be designed differently if it took into consideration women's needs--as residents, mothers, workers, social creatures, citizens, earth dwellers?

Through the art of Playback Theatre, stories of struggle, hope, resilience, and belonging are transformed into powerful, heartfelt performances that spark new conversations.

The performance concludes with refreshments and a community discussion inspired by the stories shared, creating a space for connection and collective insight.
