Building Bliss Farm

Fridays 10am - 4pm and learn and do cob building.

Every dwelling sits in a garden. The nest of the building. The day starts with getting you grounded, hands in the soil. 1hr . Weeding while we share our story to date building bliss farm and what we have learnt. This sits on the back of Biodynamic and permaculture training and 18 years of Landscape gardening.

We will share our journey with the garden and open space for conversation about yours. The one you have or are working towards.

We will then get busy on the building project.

We will discuss the theory while we work.

There will be a chance to see further buidling projects we are and have been working on: Hemp crete floor, hemp clay walls, earthen floors in the domes at different stages. wattle and daub. shingle roof. Make a plan sheds. Lime plasters.

Our study and experience runs from humble Cob to Earth Ship and Cal earth training and practice.

Bring your own lunch, there will be a fire going so you can always heat some thing up or cook on it.

Tea, coffee and cookies served at/after lunch.

Your ticket purchases acknowledges that you agree to this being a private event and as much as we will all do our best to look after one another there is no liability offered. You take any and all responsibility for your self and those that come with you.

Children are welcome and encouraged to be apart of the day. There is no additional charge . Our daughters are 9 and 5 years young and at home on this day.

We maintain reverence to Country and witness the Wadawurrung people as the original and present custodians. We offer ourselves to community and Country in service for the greater good. As much as we feel Welcomed to Country we witness that we do not yet have permission from those that represent Wadawurrung. We humbly maintain this request until we are witnessed and welcomed.
