Shelanu proudly presents Building Bridges - an inspiring panel discussion exploring how individuals can become a force for positive change in an increasingly polarised world.

At a time when social media often amplifies division, this conversation will examine how meaningful dialogue, digital advocacy and authentic storytelling can help bridge communities and create lasting impact.

Featuring Michael Gamal and Courtney Cohen, the panel will explore:

Building bridges across communities
The power and responsibility of digital advocacy
Combating misinformation and hate online
Finding common ground despite deep differences
Practical ways each of us can contribute to a more hopeful future

Michael Gamal is a Coptic Egyptian-American speaker, podcaster and human rights advocate whose personal journey transformed him from an outspoken opponent of Israel into a passionate advocate for peace, democracy and the fight against antisemitism. As Co-Chair of Social Media for Clarity Coalition, he is an internationally recognised voice on digital advocacy and interfaith dialogue.

Courtney Cohen is a Jewish digital activist and human rights advocate focused on tackling misinformation and disinformation in the digital age. Passionate about educating through social media, she works to empower individuals and communities to communicate more effectively online, challenge false narratives, and build bridges through shared human rights values.
