Event description

Get in the soil pit with us for an informative and practical day on the banks of the West Tamar.

You will learn about FOGO compost with Michael Attard (City of Launceston), and an introduction to soil health and soil description with Dr Bianca Das (Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture).

This free 3.5-hour workshop will cover how to assess your own soil in the long-term after applying composts, soil health perspectives, and practical training in visual soil assessment.

Refreshments will be provided, and spaces are limited to book early.

This event will be held outdoors so please dress appropriately for the days weather.
