Building Community to Transform Philanthropy: CircleUp DMV 2026
Description
Giving circles and community members interested in collective giving are invited to gather for an evening of reflection and collaboration. It is a critical moment for the local collective giving movement to pool our knowledge, resources, and leadership as we continue to support community-based organizations facing mounting threats.
Participants will gather in breakout groups to talk about the giving circle landscape, healing justice, organizing and advocacy, expanding our individual philanthropic capacities, and more. As we co-design this experience, we encourage you to share your questions, challenges, and ideas so that we can all leave with concrete strategies to meet and move beyond this moment.
CircleUp DMV is an opportunity offered in conjunction with Philanthropy Together’s We Give Summit, May 12-14.
