Building Engaging Curriculum Online
Event description
Are you a primary or secondary school educator looking to deepen your understanding of project-based learning, design thinking and inquiry with the goal of applying these principles to re-imagine curriculum and assessment?
Over nine weeks, participants will engage in weekly online workshops, designed to support you to re-design a chosen unit of curriculum in real-time so that it is curriculum (did someone say V9?) aligned, real world, relevant and engaging for students.
At the conclusion of the 9-week program, participants will have a fully resourced unit of curriculum, complete with curriculum-aligned assessment instrument(s), entry and showcase events and an explicit framework embedded to build a chosen capability (think general capabilities or 21st Century Skills).
Delivered live via Zoom, sessions will take place weekly on Thursdays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm AEST, starting on Thursday 27 February (with a three week break over the Easter holidays) as follows:
