Make BEP Work for Your Business: Join ICN Victoria’s Contractor Training Session to Master GEAPs in Tender and Delivery

ICN Victoria’s Building Equality Policy (BEP) Contractor Training Session, supported by Victoria Government, gives you practical guidance on the policy and a clearer understanding of what you need to do in both tendering and delivery phases.

Event overview

ICN Victoria is pleased to announce the second training session in our BEP series.

In the last session you heard about GEAPs and in this one you’ll be provided with practical guidance on BEP submission requirements across tender and delivery phases.

Format: Live online session (StreamYard - Link provided prior to event)

Date: Tuesday 31 March

Time: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm (AEDT)

Host: ICN Victoria BEP team, led by Lindsay Rattray, BEP adviser

Who this is for?

This event is tailored for construction contractors delivering, or looking to deliver, on Victorian Government projects worth 20 million and above where BEP is applicable

You’ll get the most value if you are:

Tier 1, 2 or 3 construction contractors

Project managers and delivery leads responsible for meeting BEP targets on site.

Bid, commercial or HR leaders preparing, reviewing, or implementing Project Organisation GEAPs.

What you’ll get out of it

By the end of the session, you’ll be clearer, faster, and more confident in how you approach BEP and GEAPs across the project lifecycle. You will:

Benefit from ICN Victoria demystifying BEP across tender and delivery: Understand requirements in the tender phase and what needs to happen once you’re on site, with practical examples and tips.
Look at what goes into Project and Organisation GEAPs with a walk through of the key components.
Turn policy into on-the-ground actions: Translate BEP gender targets into real workforce planning, recruitment, and site culture changes that support women across trade, non-trade and management roles.
Connect and ask questions in real time, share challenges with other contractors, and learn where to find tools, templates and extra support.

Why it matters for your business

BEP isn’t just another compliance box – it directly links to your ability to bid, win and deliver major Victorian Government construction work.

Attending will help your business:

Strengthen future bids by lifting the quality and clarity of your GEAPs.

Reduce risk and rework by getting answers up front, rather than after submission.

Improve site culture, performance and retention by embedding practical gender equality measures.

Build your reputation as a contractor that takes BEP seriously and delivers on it.
