Every winter, Auckland experiences periods of intense rainfall. While we can't stop the rain, we can be better prepared.

Join Earth Action Trust for a free, interactive workshop designed to help you understand your local flood risk and build confidence in knowing what to do before, during, and after a flood.

Together we'll explore:

💧 Why flooding happens—and why some areas flood more than others

🏡 How to identify flood risks around your home and neighbourhood

🌿 How streams, drains, and nature help manage stormwater

🧰 Practical steps to prepare your household and create a simple emergency plan

🤝 How communities can work together to become more flood resilient

This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another. No technical knowledge is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to be prepared.
