For many young people, the concept of intrapreneurship is much more appealing than entrepreneurship as they consider their pathways after school. An intrapreneurial pathway provides young people entering the workforce with the security of a job with an existing organisation, an established team to work with, an existing brand, product, and customer base, and often the ability to scale their ideas quickly if they find success in the role.

In the words of Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, “While it's true that every company needs an entrepreneur to get it underway, healthy growth requires a smattering of intrapreneurs who drive new projects and explore new and unexpected directions for business development.”
