Building partnerships outside academia through Industry PhDs

Supervising an Industry PhD offers a great opportunity for early to mid- career researchers to work at the interface of academia and industry while building their supervision skills.

Overview

Industry PhDs require balancing academic rigor with practical application and provide the supervisor with the opportunity to expand their network and explore new funding avenues. ANU offers support for developing and attracting funding for Industry PhD projects. Presented by Dr Ulrike Proske, ANU Higher Degree Research Industry Engagement Consultant, this info session will discuss the different Industry PhD programs, their administrative workflows and the support available at ANU.

There will be time to ask questions throughout and after the session.
