Building Resilience in the Modern Threat Landscape

TasICT invites you to a Tapas & Technology Networking Event to hear how Splunk and CyberCX are working in partnership to help organisations build a more resilient and secure digital infrastructure.

When something goes bump in the night on your digital networks, you need to be able to figure out what happened fast. SecOps, ITOps and engineering need to work within and across teams to detect and predict issues, find the root cause, assess risk and impact radius, and remediate.

Join us to learn how Splunk helps organisations become more resilient by developing their security and observability capabilities, so their mission-critical systems stay secure and reliable. In a hyper connected world, where we rely on technologies for every aspect of our lives, the need for digital resilience is more real than ever.

Australians are more worried than ever about their digital identities and digital services, having witnessed the likes of the Optus, Medibank and Latitude breaches over the last 12 months. What the public doesn’t necessarily see is the connected operational technology and computer systems that sustain our society, economy and nation, much of which is equally vulnerable to malicious state and criminal actors.

While we can prevent as much cyber harm as we can by good architecture, and policies, we need to plan for when those controls to fail. Observability of systems and networks is vital to detect bad actors quickly, so we can take remedial action to reduce harms associated with risk being realised.
