Description

Twenty years ago, Firstport was founded to help people test and launch ideas that create positive social change. At the time, social enterprise was still a niche approach, and the support infrastructure for entrepreneurs was only beginning to emerge.

Today, social enterprises are tackling some of Scotland's most pressing social, economic and environmental challenges, supported by a mature and internationally recognised ecosystem. As we look to the future, what role can social enterprise play in building the kind of society we want to see?

Join us as we bring together leaders from across government, philanthropy and social enterprise to explore the question: what role will social enterprise play in addressing social, economic and environmental challenges over the next 20 years?

Through thought-provoking discussions, practical insights and new connections, we'll explore where the greatest opportunities lie, what investment and partnerships are needed, and how we can work together to create lasting impact.

Whether you're shaping policy, investing in communities, supporting enterprises or driving change within your own organisation, this event is an opportunity to connect with others and contribute to the conversation about the future of social enterprise in Scotland.

The agenda is currently in development and will be shared soon.
