Building Tomorrow’s Workforce Today: Talent and Leadership Development

We'll be joined by the Waukesha County Business Alliance for an overview of their efforts to strengthen the local talent pipeline and develop the next generation of workforce and community leaders. Through strategic partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations, the Alliance connects students with opportunities to explore careers and learn about education pathways. Key initiatives include Schools2SkillsTM, which helps students connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities; student expos, which introduce young people to local employers and try hands-on activities; and Leadership Waukesha County and Leadership 2.0, which sharpen leadership skills and strengthen professional networks for business professionals.

This event will take place in person at the UW-Extension building at 864 Collins Rd, Room 8-9, Jefferson, WI and online via Zoom.
