Buildings Reloved - Considering intersections of place, culture, & carbon - The role of existing buildings in our sustainable future
Event description
Join us as we explore a new sustainability aesthetic that values retrofitting and adaptive reuse of existing buildings over the new. This approach reduces material costs, cuts embodied carbon, and creates unique spaces that connect us with history, revitalising our communities.
The event will feature an engaging panel discussion on the sustainable reuse and adaptation of buildings, covering both challenges and innovative solutions in the field.
This is a Melbourne Regenerative Design Forum event, and part of an ongoing series led by a collective of people and organisations who seek to be champions of a regenerative built and natural environment in Melbourne.
