✦ Class Description ✦

Blood impact toys are easy to judge by how wicked they look, what they are made from, or whether somebody has used them before without a problem. But a toy’s risk profile depends on a lot more than that. Its design, condition, technique, body area, recipient, environment, and whether it is being reused or shared can all change what it does and how much room there is for something to go wrong.

In this class, we will build a practical way to assess blood impact toys for both people using them and the people making them. We will look at the questions you should ask before you decide to create or use a blood impact toy.

This class is for blood and impact players, bottoms, toy makers, vendors, and educators who want to ask better questions and catch problems earlier. The goal is to make more informed decisions about when and how to use specific toys beyond the safe/unsafe binary.

✦ About the Educator ✦

Ember Solaris is a social scientist, kink educator, and risk nerd who teaches blood play, sharps, impact, and other higher-risk kink. Their work focuses on moving beyond simple “safe or unsafe” labels to look at how things interact. Ember brings practical experience, curiosity, and a strong preference for honest conversations about uncertainty, responsibility, and what can actually go wrong.
