Event description

Bulga Beats Festival 2023

We have been in hibernation since cancelling our 2020 event and it's with great excitement we have announced the relaunch of the festival for it's 5th birthday celebration on the 19th - 21st of May 2023. As always we will have free camping with the Wollemi National Park as a backdrop in the Bulga Recreation grounds. Expect the same intimate community festival with old faces as well as new layouts, artists and activities.

Make sure you join our Facebook event Bulga Beats Festival 2023 for regular updates, announcements and information about the event. We really love to create a safe and supportive environment for all to attend, through variety, care and planning we have built an event that reflects the nature of a rural village. Come join our family for a weekend of joy, dance and connection through the creative arts!

If you are interested in volunteering in exchange for a ticket please jump on our website and follow the tabs to the volunteer form. This is a great way to be apart of the festival while meeting new people, enjoying a different aspect of the event and attending for an exchange rather than buying a ticket.

  • Camping: the festival offers free camping with toilet access and drinking water but no showers

FOOD:

The Festival is currently working with community groups, schools and caterers to bring a different feel to festival food. We aim to create designated meal times with set menus. This is a concept still in the planning phase as a way to bring connection, community and take a focus off stalls standing all day waiting to serve food. More information on this will come via contact to ticket holders at a later date. We would love to offer more local produce in form of fruits, snacks and meals as a way to connect more with our surroundings and offer greater opportunity to local organisations.

TICKETS:

The festival is a full weekend (Friday - Sunday) and kids under the age of 14 are a donation of your choice when purchasing tickets or at entry of festival. 14 - 18 years old will have their own ticket price separate from the general adult admission. Please if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us via Facebook or at bulgabeats@gmail.com.
