Bulimba Gingerbread House Workshop 2025

Join us for a festive, hands-on Christmas experience at our Gingerbread House Workshop!

Perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves a little Christmas magic, this workshop gives you the chance to build your very own gingerbread house using a premium Gingerbread Folk kit. Choose from Traditional or Gluten-Free—each one vegan, dairy-free, egg-free and nut-free.

Your kit comes complete with pre-cut gingerbread pieces, a baseboard, ready-made royal icing in piping bags, plus cello and ribbon so you can wrap and take home your masterpiece. We’ll have plenty of lollies for decorating, and you’re welcome to bring your own favourite sweets or tools to make it uniquely yours.

Each finished house (15cm x 12cm x 16cm) can be kept for up to six months when stored airtight—so you can enjoy your creation long after Christmas.

It’s a joyful afternoon of fun, creativity, and shared memories—and you’ll leave with a delicious festive centrepiece to display at home.

Enjoy festive afternoon tea donated by our wonderful hosts, Thinkwell Psychology Hawthorne and Hawthorne Family Practice. And as a bonus, any profit from the event will go directly to supporting the Bulimba Community Centre, helping them continue their fantastic work for local families and community groups.
