Bullfrog Rata and The Cuba Express

Bullfrog Rata is a seasoned blues performer. For this show he will be joined by his band, The Cuba Express.

They perform a fast-paced danceable set of blues tunes along with many of the tunes from the One Fine Day and Chasing the Gazelle albums.

Both albums feature a number of personal, not self-indulgent, but highly musical and uplifting tunes.

Cuba Express is Patrick Bleakley on bass, Abe Bailey on drums and Geoff Culverwell on trumpet and keys.

Bullfrog Rata has performed with many well-known acts including Midge Marsden and The Chills, international blues acts like Taj Mahal, Watermelon Slim as well as mega stars Tina Turner, Charlie Pride, and Jethro Tull.
