Bumi Nature Play

Join us for a gentle morning of nature play at Perth City Farm, where children and their caregivers are invited to slow down, explore and connect with the natural world around them.

Each week there will be a variety of thoughtfully prepared, sensory-rich play experiences using natural materials and open-ended invitations that nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence.

Our sessions are inspired by the seasonal rhythms of the South West of Western Australia.

This weeks theme: Listening to the land

Listening to the land invites children to slow down and notice the quiet sounds of the world around them - the rustle of leaves, the chirping of birds in the trees and the stories carried in the wind. Through gentle, hands-on exploration, we’ll discover ways to care for and restore the land, while connecting with its natural rhythms and offerings.

Our sessions include:

Bumi nature play is for toddlers and young children 8 months – 5 years, attending alongside a parent or caregiver.

We warmly welcome families seeking inclusive, neurodiversity-aware spaces where children can explore at their own pace.
