Event description

It might be vital to ask the question, but I don't know how to say it, or when?

If I ask, then what?  I don't have experience with a conversation like that.

I need to know what not to say, I am scared to say the wrong thing?

This 3 hours training is a practical toolkit of life saving skills for supporting someone thinking of suicide.

BEING BRAVE IS TAKING THE FIRST STEP

If you are a member of the community workforce, learn or refresh your knowledge of

- being alert and noticing indicators,

- how and when to ask the question

- ways to have a conversation

- connecting to a intervention provider.

The workshop will be led by Brave Brothers Ltd - a charity established to advance health and social and public welfare by undertaking activities including suicide awareness and prevention training to community groups and work forces.

****** WHAT IF I REGISTER AND CAN'T ATTEND? ******

We understand, however please notify Assistance Industry Resourcing (yourteam@assistindustries.com.au) to allow another person to access this life saving training.

Brave Brothers Brave Talk is a 3 hour training that equips people to be more alert to someone thinking of suicide and better able to connect them to an intervention provider.
