Bunting Flags with Laura from Is Olde
Event description
Please join The Village for an evening creating up-cycled bunting with Laura and her talent and passion for turning second-hand materials into one of a kind pieces.
With fun and gentle facilitation from Laura, we will each make our own string of bunting flags using upcycled materials. It will be a lovely evening in the magical pink hall accompanied by nourishing food and mindful moments.
Laura Westerberg is the owner and designer behind local Kinjarling label Is Olde Upcycle, a slow fashion brand purely creating upcycled garments. Laura aims to create pieces that are unique, sustainable and handmade with love.
No sewing experience is required for this workshop.
Please bring along:
- A sewing machine if you have your own. (We recommend using your personal machine, for your own practice, should you have one already. Please indicate in our questionnaire further on if you will be providing your own).
- Any particular second-hand material that you may like to include in your bunting piece.
- A notebook and pen.
With gratitude,
The Village
