Bunya Mountains Winter Escape
Event description
Join us this July for an adventurous weekend exploring the picturesque Bunya Mountains National Park. We'll be spending three days checking out some beautiful hikes, waterfalls, and scenic lookouts, relaxing by the fire and enjoying delicious meals and drinks at our cosy cabin and the local eateries. ITINERARY
Friday 14th July
8:30am - Leave Sunshine Coast
11:30am - Coffee stop and Lunch at Poppies on the Hill, Bunya Mountains
1pm - Check-in and setup at Homestead
3pm - Koondaii Circuit Trail Walk (2.4km)
5pm - Sunset at Fishers Lookout
6:30pm - Dinner (provided) and campfire
Saturday 15th July
7am - Morning Stretch / Yoga (optional)
8am - Breakfast (provided)
10am - Barker Creek Circuit Hike (9.8km)
2:30pm - Return to Homestead
5pm - Sunset at Fishers Lookout
6pm - Dinner at The Bunya Tavern
Sunday 16th July
7am - Morning Stretch / Yoga (optional)
8am - Breakfast (provided)
10am - Checkout
10:30am - Coomba Falls Walk
11:30am - Yarraman Station Park (start of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail)
12:30pm - Lunch at The Linville Hotel
2pm - Return to Sunshine Coast

WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Accommodation in the Toolburra Homestead. Please note that you may be required to share a room, but not a bed. We have capped numbers below the accommodation capacity for this trip to ensure a more comfortable experience so the rooms will also not be full. - Transport to and from the Bunya Mountains (we will have a group meeting before the trip so attendees can organise carpooling if they choose)
