Welcome to Suspensions Aerial Arts and Burlesque. Our Saturday evening workshop sold out in less than a week so I have put on a Sunday afternoon one! This workshop is all about fun- letting go of inhibitions and having a laugh with your girlfriends. This workshop suits absolute beginners through to the seasoned performer. No dance or performance experience required at all!
What to expect?
We will start the afternoon with a drink and nibbles as we get to know each other, then a simple warm up to get us started. Then immerse yourself in stylish and sexy burlesque choreography with a modern cabaret flair. We’ll learn about the origins of burlesque and delve into characterisation before incorporating props such as feather fans, chairs, and gloves, into a routine. In this workshop you’ll unleash your inner diva leaving you feeling strong, sexy and empowered.
We will finish the afternoon with a mini photoshoot incorporating props and poses you've learnt over the course of the workshop!
Feel like kicking on? Afterwards we will head to Lady Lola for an afternoon beverage in the sun!
