Build body confidence while flaunting your feminine energy, concealing & revealing your way through 4-weeks of absolute fun! Feel fabulous and find freedom with this spectacular dance form inspired by the legendary Sally Rand. Develop and improve dance technique while exploring your feminine power through this uplifting and elegant expression of burlesque.

Once banned for its bawdy and risqué dance moves, Burlesque has now made its way into the hearts of many and has taken the world by storm! This sensual, seductive and flirtatious dance form is celebrated by women around the globe as a movement that has given women agency over their bodies and freedom to express their sensuality in uplifting, joyful ways.
Burlesque has a rich HERstory dating wayyy back to 440BC and has developed over the years to become an expressive dance form celebrating femininity with theatricality. Not only does Burlesque allow you to express your inner most dancing Diva, but it helps to build body confidence and awareness, improve fitness and develop flexibility in the most joyful way possible!
Throughout the 4-week course Willow will introduce you to classic and contemporary burlesque fan dance moves such as figure-8's, conceal/reveal, the clam shell, and struts & poses. Through the art of tease, each week you will explore new moves and techniques which will develop into a fun and flirty choreographed sequence.
Suitable for all levels - absolute beginners welcome!

WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear whatever you feel comfy in, however you feel like expressing yourself as long as your clothes don't restrict your movement and you can move freely- what you'd wear to the gym or yoga is purrrfect!
NB: Fans are provided and the hire fee is covered in your course cost.
WHY LEARN FROM WILLOW
Willow is a celebrated and award winning Burlesque Performer and teacher who has been sharing her love for burlesque around the globe since 2002 and teaching since 2008. Willow was one of Australia's first burlesque teachers who developed programs and courses that are now taught nation wide. She has a degree in Acting, is a qualified teacher/trainer, is a certified 350hr Yoga Teacher, has studied dance and theatre around the world including France, Germany and Japan. Bumpin her butt off around the world, Willow has performed at prestigious events such as London Burlesque Festival and The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, and has taught internationally including USA, London, Japan, Germany. A great communicator committed to enhancing the lives of others through sharing her skills and love for dance, Willow is a passionate, caring and supportive teacher who holds safe space for women to explore and discover the many benefits burlesque has to offer!
