Join Mx. Taylor Marie (aka Taylor of Love Club) for a 6 week burlesque progressive, where you'll learn a group burlesque number and get the chance to perform it on stage!

This program is for all genders, ages (18+) and experience levels. No performance experience required!

Mx. Taylor Marie is a queer burlesque performer and professional dancer with decades of stage experience, and they're offering you the chance to learn all the show-human and burlesque skills they've gathered for an intimate 6 weeks of group learning, leading up to a real event performance!

Burlesque is the art of strip-tease blended with the art of erotic dance. It's a beautiful way to meet yourself in a new way and connect to your body in a pleasure-based, choice-based, body and sex positive space.

The classes will run FRIDAYS 6:30-8PM for 6 consecutive weeks, leading up to the performance.

This is an Open Level progressive (NOT DROP-IN CLASSES), however consider trying our Slow & Slutty class first if you've never danced in heels before.

**Dress Rehearsal will be held November 20th 6:30-8pm.

**Because this is a performance class, it's essential that you are able to commit to at least 5 of the 6 weeks of class to ensure we all know what we're doing. If you cannot to commit to at least 5 weeks of class, please consider whether this is the right time for you.

We'll flow, get sexy, learn group choreography, and just give it a try together - it's all about showing up for yourself and doing what feels good for you, challenging yourself, making friends, and living your spotlight dreams! You will be learning in a group setting, so lean on your classmates and commit to being present with the process.

Each week, we'll warm up together, learn some new moves, and then get right into building our group number to perform at the next major Love Club event in November (TBA!!).

You will be supported with filmed choreography to practice at home, a group chat for the humans in the cohort, and direct access to Mx. Taylor Marie for the entirety of the progressive (October 2nd-November 6th).

As burlesque is traditionally performed in ballroom heels, we'll be learning in our heels. You don't need to buy anything new for this progressive, just show up with whatever you've got!

What to bring:

water bottle
clothes you can move in
heels
knee pads or long pants (for comfort on the floor)
a fan if you like (the space gets quite hot & sticky)
supportive, loving energy to encourage the other babes in your class!

This progressive class series is all about building community, challenging ourselves, and creating something magical and sexy together!
