Denmark Civic Centre
denmark, australia
Event description
At Burning Matters Part 3 we will screen our short films showing various ecosystems of the Walpole Wilderness Area and the impacts of large-scale prescribed burns on them. These films are yet to be released to the public, bar one. We will also hear from two guest speakers, Professor Stephen Hopper (UWA Albany) and Simon Neville. Denmark Environment Centre's Bart Lebbing and Cath Spaggiari will give an overview of the issues around prescribed burning and current campaign activities. This is a free event funded by a grant from the Koorabup Trust, although donations are encouraged. We will also be raffling some wines kindly donated by Singlefile.
