Burnout to Balance - Mastering Stress, Overwhelm and the Mental Load

Event description

Do you want to take care of your teams mental health and well-being, but find yourself not knowing where to start or how to make it a priority? Running your own business can be all-consuming, which is where our expert-led series of wellbeing workshops comes in.

We are very proud to partner with The City of Charles Sturt to deliver this workshop for small and family business owners and leaders to dedicate valuable time to themselves and their teams mental health - a crucial part of operating and maintaining a successful business.

By joining this workshop, you will:

  • Consider how to juggle responsibilities effectively, making it easier to manage the demands of your business and personal life.
  • Recognise the importance of establishing clear boundaries and communication
  • Identify and understand 'warning signs' that contribute to disengagement, overwhelm, stress and burnout
  • Be reminded of practical strategies to enhance mental health and wellbeing
  • Connect, share, and normalise experiences with fellow business owners in an inclusive and supportive space.
  • Dedicate some time for you and your wellbeing

* This event will have two time slots 9:30am-12:30pm AND 5:30pm-8:30pm which will cover the same content.

* LOCATION: Healthy Living Precinct,16 Hindmarsh Avenue, Welland.

This workshop is a mixture of checking in with your experiences, mental health education, looking at wellbeing strategies, learning practical tools and most importantly the discussion, connection, sharing and problem solving with other leaders and business owners who 'get it'.

Are you ready to take action to look after yourself and your team so that your cash flow, business, products, services, clients, and customers benefit from a mentally happier, healthier team?

This initiative is proudly supported by the South Australian Office of Small and Family Business. It addresses the recent finding reported in their 2023–2030 strategic plan, revealing that 62% of small business owners feel that their mental health has been negatively impacted over the last 12 months.

The program is designed and led by Bel Ryan, a highly experienced clinician with over 20 years of expertise in areas such as facilitation, mental health training, art therapy, and counselling. Bel will collaborate with expert facilitators to share their knowledge and tools throughout the series of workshops.
