Burringbar Village Community Plan Workshops

A series of 4 workshops will be held during October 2020 to gather input from residents and business owners to assist in formalising the
Burringbar Village Community Plan.
If you are interested in what is happening in your village, now and into the future, come along to contribute your ideas and thoughts about a range of projects that will be developed and driven by our community.
These workshops are free to attend and have been organised through the volunteer efforts of the Burringbar Community Association Inc.

Tuesday 6th October, 6pm: Infrastructure and Movement
Traffic management, safety, signage, public parking areas, public transport, road maintenance, footpaths and multi-use trails
Tuesday 13th October, 6pm: Land Use Planning & Natural Resource Management
Public space management, urban renewal projects-Rail Trail, Masterplan for Memorial Reserve & Masterson Park, biodiversity, bushland management, sustainable agriculture and waterway management
Tuesday 20th October, 6pm: Economic Well-being
Sustainable small business growth, reliable communications, tourism opportunities, unique village brand identity
Tuesday 27th October, 6pm: Heritage, Culture and Community
Acknowledgement of Indigenous identity, history & rural heritage; community resilience networks, inter-generational equity
COVID Safe note:
Social distancing measures will be imposed within the constraints of the Hall. We ask that if you are a member of a group, aim to send one rep to each session. We also ask that attendance be limited to one family member per household, to enable more input from more households. Please bring your own pen to complete your feedback sheet and a water bottle if you’ll need a drink.
