We’re thrilled to announce a FREE bus service from Cassilis to Merriwa for the Home for Christmas event on Friday, 13th December 2024. This means you can enjoy the festive celebrations without the hassle of driving into town and back home!
Pick-Up Locations and Times
The bus will depart from the Cassilis Post Office (20 Buccleugh Street) at 4:30 PM, with additional stops along the way. When booking your tickets, please select your preferred pick-up location.
Here’s the planned schedule (times are approximate and may adjust if certain stops aren’t needed):
- Cassilis Post Office: Depart at 4:30 PM
- Cnr Busby St & Golden Hwy, Borambil at approx. 4.40pm
- Cnr Comialla Rd & Golden Hwy, Cassilis at approx. 4.50pm
- Cnr Pembroke Rd & Golden Hwy, Cassilis at approx. 4.55pm
- "Alexander Downs", Bow at approx. 5.10pm
- Ringwood Rd Turnoff at approx. 5.20pm
- Merriwa RSL Club: Arrive at approx. 5.30pm
Return Trip
The bus will leave Merriwa at 8:15 PM, departing from the Merriwa RSL Club, and return to Cassilis, making the required stops along the way.
Important Information
- Seats are limited, so bookings are essential. Ticket sales will close once the bus reaches capacity.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- If you need to adjust your booking (e.g., reduce the number of seats, change pickup location), please let us know as soon as possible so we can correct this.
- You will receive an email a few days before the event confirming the final pick-up times.
