Aspiring Rotary presents: An Evening of Resilience and Hope
Join us on Saturday, 28 February 2026, for an inspiring evening with Lou Vincent, Glen Thurston, and Katheryn Wright, as they share their experiences and insights into mental health and wellbeing.
Former international cricketer Lou Vincent will speak candidly about his own mental health journey. Glen Thurston, founder of Mental Hunts, will share his story and the vision behind the charity, promoting awareness, connection, and support for men’s mental health. Katheryn Wright, a registered mental health professional specialising in rural mental health, will offer valuable insights from her work supporting individuals and communities across Aotearoa.
All proceeds from this event will go towards Mental Hunts, helping to continue their vital work in the mental health space.
Hosted by Aspiring Rotary, this will be an evening of courage, honesty, and hope, shining a light on mental well-being in our communities.
Please note: This event will include discussions around mental health challenges, including suicide. It is recommended for ages 16 and over. Parental discretion is advised.
