Bush Basketry, Weaving Workshop
Event description
Join me to learn the basics of creating a woven basket from roadside grasses. Coil baskets are an ancient technique used by many cultures from around the world to make beautiful and functional vessels.
All materials will be provided as well as morning and afternoon tea and a grazing table lunch. The only thing I would recommend you bring is a protective glove for your 'binding hand'. I will email details, including a link to a Bunnings product, to you once the booking is complete.
Held on a bush block surrounded by the local Dwellingup Jarrah Forest, this is workshop is a great way to unwind, and practice some mindfulness whilst producing something you can be proud of :)
I would recommend this course for people 13 and over. Anyone under 15 will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
