CERES x Playgroup Victoria | Bush Friends Picnic!

Created in partnership with Playgroup Victoria, Bush Friends Picnic is a relaxed, drop-in gathering for families with children aged 0 - 5 years. Designed as an unhurried space to connect, explore, and simply be outdoors together, the morning invites little ones to move at their own pace, whether that means busy hands-on play or quiet observation.

Children can wander between open-ended play areas that encourage curiosity, creativity, and sensory exploration. There will be opportunities to build and construct with natural materials, engage in imaginative play, discover small wildlife habitats, and enjoy simple nature-based activities guided by CERES educators.

Families are welcome to arrive anytime between 9am - 12pm, and stay for as long as it suits them. There will be drop-in style activities throughout the day. Shady spots and open green spaces provide plenty of room for crawling, toddling, running, or resting. It’s also a chance for parents and carers to slow down, meet other local families, and share an outdoor experience together.

Bring a rug, snacks, water, sun protection, and your child’s favourite bush animal toy for a morning of imagination, discovery, and connection with the natural world.
