Bush Inventors' Club - Baldivis - Homeschool Edition
Event description
Bush Inventors’ Club is a space where children aged 6-12 years can experiment, create and play with natural resources in a fun environment.
Nature Educators and Nature Playworkers lead the clubs. They are passionate about allowing freedom of play.
A major part of the club is developing self-risk assessment skills, allowing risk taking with support in identifying hazards and body awareness.
Term three at Baldivis is a crowd and staff favourite - fire! The program centers on learning to create, care for, and cook with fire. When founded on the three pillars of respect (respect for self, others, and the environment), teaching fire provides a fantastic catalyst for the development of perseverance, patience, teamwork, nature connection, responsibility, community and survival skills. We are always delighted to watch the confidence and maturity of the group grow across the sessions, as they develop into capable ‘fire keepers’, mentors and cooks.

Please note, children must have turned 6 to attend Bush Inventors' Club.
