Bush Inventors’ Club is a space where primary aged children can experiment, create and play with natural resources in a fun after school activity.

Nature Educators and Nature Playworkers lead the clubs. They are passionate about allowing freedom of play.

A major part of the club is developing self-risk assessment skills, allowing risk taking with support in identifying hazards and body awareness.

How can play be enhanced with extra resources? This term we will be adding tools to the kit for the children to create and tinker each week. Play is a vital component of childhood development. There is an abundance of research highlighting how play facilitates the development of language, social skills, creativity, physical capabilities, and more. Although seemingly simple, play is surprisingly complex with opportunities for intrinsically motivated rich learning.

Please note, children must have turned 6 to attend Bush Inventor's Club.
