Bush Inventors' Club - Crawley - Homeschool Edition
Event description
Bush Inventors’ Club is a space where primary aged children can experiment, create and play with natural resources in a fun after school activity.
Nature Educators and Nature Playworkers lead the clubs. They are passionate about allowing freedom of play.
A major part of the club is developing self-risk assessment skills, allowing risk taking with support in identifying hazards and body awareness.
Term 4 will focus on tool use. Saws, drills, hammers and files will provide an opportunity to transform materials with the added power of the ultimate tool - imagination! Each week we will cover a different skill, learning how to use a new tool safely and effectively. Children are then given freedom to build whatever they desire. In the past we have seen everything from delicate fairy houses, to weapons, to intricately carved spoons! We can't wait to see the creativity the Bush Inventors' will bring this term.
Please note, This is a DROP and LEAVE programs and children must have turned 6 to attend Bush Inventors' Club.
