Callan Park Bush School - Professional Development Morning Tea

Outdoor Educators, Early Childhood Educators, Teachers and curious Parents/Carers are invited to a Morning Tea with Greater Sydney Parklands expert Bush School Educators.

Get to know more about our Bush School program, rooted in the heritage and ecology of the unique Australian landscape and developed through research and concepts from international best practice in nature education.

We'll share methods for inspiring a love of the natural world in children through outdoor games, bush craft activities, storytelling and nature play. This is an opportunity for us to hear from you, the community about the types of bush school offers you would like to see at Callan Park in the future.

Our Bush School rangers have prepared a range of outdoor games and activities that leave no hands clean!

Bush School is an outdoor program and will take place in all-weather except for high winds and electrical storms. Participants (adults and children) are expected to dress for the outdoors, including bringing wet weather gear, a hat, sturdy enclosed shoes and waterproof footwear when required.

When: Wednesday 6th of December 2023

Times: 12pm - 2pm, stay for half an hour, or stay for 2 hours.

Please use the toilets before arriving at the Summerhouse if possible.

COVID-19, Infectious Disease and Viruses:

I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that all attendees associated with this booking do not attend if:

• We/I show any COVID-19, Infectious disease or virus symptoms or feel unwell.
• We/I have had a fever, diarrhoea or vomiting within 12 hours or at the time of the program.
• We/I have been asked to self-isolate.
• We/I have had a positive COVID-19 test result and continue to have symptoms.
