We'll also have my father Dave with us again, a true bushman elder, with his life time wealth of knowledge and experience exploring deep wild country, living basic in the bush without modern technology and his many skills and stories to share.

Our relationship with wild place is part of who we are – by embracing it, we can cultivate an inner wellspring of personal resilience and resource, that gives a guiding ember into life’s pathway with nature as ally.
This weekend is not only skill based, but a deeper immersion into re-patterning our sensory awareness in tune with nature and the wider web of life around us.

In today's ways, we've lost touch with our natural state of being that is primarily wired to the outdoors, with primitive skills being the original survival skills that all humans once used to live in harmony with the earth. This weekend gathering intends to help share those skills and keep their power alive in the modern day. While as well, invoking our own remembrance, innate intelligence and sense of belonging to the natural world.

Testimonials -
"I couldn't wipe the smile off my face the entire time. Sitting around the fire with the billy boiling and a beautiful hearty stew surrounded by the real world (nature) and wildlife and beautiful people felt like coming home. To be able to get a taste of all the new bush skills and crafts was brilliant and I'm so excited to delve further into each of them." - Sienna

"If you feel the nudge to connect more deeply with your wild self, or re-member your relationship to nature, I cannot recommend Sally’s rewilding offerings highly enough. The Bush Skills Weekend was the perfect blend of practical skill exploration, quiet time to connect to the land, and a beautiful mix of like-minded people to create connection with. Feeling super recharged, and a regenerated sense of self after spending time on the land. I was totally in awe of the genuine connections I made from just a 2-night camp out, and the conversations & quality banter ‘round the fires." - Karinda

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land Dja Dja Wurrung on which our gathering takes place. We give our respects to the Djaara people and their on going connection to the land, waters and cultural ways. May we continue to give back with presence and reciprocity.
