Event description

Join Drew Roberts and the Yirranma Place community for a special opportunity to connect with the world's oldest living culture through an immersive bush food experience and tasting.

Drew, a proud Arakwal and Bundjalung man, is the founder of Shared Knowledge, a small Aboriginal-owned business dedicated to sharing culture.

"Knowledge is not something that you own in Aboriginal Nations, but something you share.” - Drew Roberts

In the spirit of NAIDOC 2024, “keep the fire burning,” we invite you to see, smell, and taste some popular native ingredients. Learn how to incorporate these unique Australian bush foods into your favourite recipes, and enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury morning tea items.

As this is during school holidays we are delighted to extend this invitation to children 6+ who are accompanied for an adult.
