Bush walk and Sing
Event description
Welcome to an all weather community and family friendly outing for the day <3
Sunny from Active Education WA will guide you for a gentle bush walk along Gooralong Brook where we will observe the plants and animals living there including Black Cockatoos, Wattles, Eucalypts and all the little birds that are nesting there this season. We will take it slow so we can share our knowledge of the plants and animals we see. Along the way about 1.5Km we will stop at a special place where we can rest, have a picnic and learn a powerful positive mantra song to sing together. After a picnic and song we wild forage using sustainable practice for materials for a small nature craft activity then follow the bush track back to the car park about another 1Km.
*BYO food, water and appropriate all weather gear.
*Public toilets available at the car park only.
*Each of the events in this series have a different song. On the day, Sunny will sing a song from these progressive artists 'Beautiful Chorus', 'Coax Marie', 'Dominique Fils-Aimé', 'Jean du Voyage' & 'Isla' for us to learn together.
