Bush Foods with Auntie Leanne Williams

GEC is proud to present this Bush Foods workshop with Auntie Leanne Williams. She will share some of her knowledge of bush food plants, how to grow, harvest and prepare them, and will provide bush food samples to try. We will also have a look at some of the native food and medicinal plants in the GEC garden.

Auntie Leanne provides workshops on plant uses that combine her family heritage, Buandig/Booandik, and Kaurna culture. She works as a casual horticultural assistant at TafeSA, Urrbrae, having completed 2 Diplomas, in Conservation, Land Management and Horticulture.
