Join us for our next Business After 5 event focussing on the multi-generational workplace: Rising life expectancies, decreased fertility rates, increased retirement age, and increased costs of living has meant Australia’s workforce is highly diverse in age. This increases pressure for employers to address generational differences in their employee attraction, retention, turnover and engagement strategies.

We are thrilled to feature expert speaker, Paula Brough, Professor of Organisational Psychology and Director of the Centre for Work, Organisation and Wellbeing at Griffith University. Paula’s primary research areas are occupational stress and coping, employee mental health and wellbeing, work engagement, work-life balance, workplace conflict, and the psychosocial work environment.

Whether you're leading a team, looking to adapt to diverse workstyles, or seeking strategies to foster a more inclusive workplace, this event will provide valuable insights into the characteristics of successful age diverse workplaces, and the policies and practices these employers utilise to support their high-performing employees of all ages.

And you will also benefit from the opportunity to network with some fantastic local businesses!

When: Thursday 27th March, 5pm-7pm
Where: Terrace Café, Ipswich Showgrounds, 81 Warwick Road, Ipswich
Tickets: $35 (Chamber members and Expo exhibitors), $55 non-members

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the best, meet like-minded professionals, and enjoy a relaxed evening of networking. See you there!
