Toi Ōtautahi are hosting a free Creative Business Basics workshop for local artists. This workshop will be led by local accountant, Anthony Rohan from Fairground Accounting.
This workshop is an opportunity for artists to learn about the business fundamentals of running a creative practice (sole trader), pick up new tips and trick, and ask all your burning tax questions in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. This session will run for two hours and will be a combination of a presentation and a Q&A sections. Light refreshments provided.

About Anthony Rohan:
Anthony is the Ōtautahi director of Fairground Accounting, a purpose-driven company supporting not-for-profits, charities, creative businesses, and impact enterprises to make their mark on the world. In addition to supporting artists and arts organisations, Anthony is involved in the New Zealand music and radio scene as DJ under the name Firefly, and volunteers with the Civil Defence Force.
