Event description

The Business for Good Sector Development Program is for social enterprises, First Nations owned businesses, B Corps and small businesses who are interested in intentionally embedding social and environmental impact into their businesses.

Our Business for Good workshop series will cover a range of small business fundamentals topics with an impact lens to help SA small businesses build key knowledge and capabilities to drive social and environmental impact through sustainable business development and growth.

Workshop 11 - Business for Good Fundamentals Part I: Impact Model Design

Curious about how to create real, lasting impact through your business? Wondering how to embed purpose into your model in a way that’s both strategic and sustainable? For the first time, we’re delivering a Business for Good workshop on Ngarrindjeri Country, creating a space to connect and strengthen the growing community of impact-driven businesses in the region.

Led by the team at Collab4Good, this interactive workshop will unpack key concepts and frameworks to help you understand what business for good truly means. We’ll take you back to identifying and understanding your WHY, explore different impact and business models for good, and learn from First Nations practices. You’ll also gain insights into systems change and systems thinking, helping you see the bigger picture of how your business fits into a broader movement for change.

We’ll introduce you to the Theory of Change framework, equipping you with a practical tool to strategically and intentionally embed impact into your business. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your approach, this session will help you clarify your purpose and strengthen your impact strategy.

Expect an engaging, hands-on session where you’ll learn from facilitators and peers, and leave with actionable insights to apply to your business. You are welcome to stay on for an extra hour after the workshop to mingle with others over some light refreshments.

This is Part I of a two-part fundamentals series. Part II will focus on business model design, ensuring your impact-driven business is built for long-term success.

Places are limited and registrations are essential so get in quick to avoid disappointment. We are eager to enable eligible businesses in regional South Australia who cannot attend in person to participate via Zoom.
