Business for Good Garden Party @ Nowra Community Food Store

The Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT (SECNA) invites you to join Champion, Jemma Tribe to celebrate World Social Enterprise Day with a Business for Good Garden Party

Join the Food Store team for afternoon tea as well as an opportunity to tour the store and new garden, plus learn about their latest ‘grow a row’ initiative and share about the incredible work of social enterprises in our community.

The Garden Party will be hosted by Nowra Community Food Store.

Please note: Afternoon tea will be catered, there will be an opportunity to specify any dietary requirements during ticket registration. Ticket sales will close 48 hours prior to the event so we can finalise numbers.

Who is this event for?

Open to anyone, it will be of particular interest to:

• Social entrepreneurs (and people wanting to create a social enterprise)

• People working in social enterprise (or wanting to)

• Local, state and federal government staff

• Local councillors and Members of Parliament

• University and TAFE staff

• People wanting to learn more about or support social enterprise

• Procurement officers

• Sustainability officers

What to expect:

• Welcome and social enterprise sector updates from SECNA

• Shop & Garden Tour

• Community asks and offers - each guest is given an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves/their organisation and then share one ask and/or offer of the community e.g. ‘we’re looking for warehouse space for refurbished items’ / ‘we’re experts in circular design and are happy to answer questions’ / ‘we're wanting to find a social enterprise to run our events’
