Business for Good Lunch - Canberra

The Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT (SECNA) invites you to join SECNA champion, Karen Hedley, for the first Canberra Business for Good Lunch of 2025.

SECNA fosters engagement and connection with the social enterprise sector in NSW and ACT.  Business for Good events give local social enterprises and their supporters a chance to meet, find new opportunities, ask for help, and share ideas.

This lunch will take place at Canberra, Australian of the Year, award winning Cafe Stepping Stone, which is located at 8 Hawdon Place, Dickson

Please note: We ask that you buy your own food or drinks and help us support this local social enterprise cafe.

Who is this event for?
Open to anyone, it will be of particular interest to:
- Social entrepreneurs (and people wanting to create a social enterprise)
- People working in social enterprise (or wanting to)
- Local, state and federal government staff
- Local councillors and Members of Parliament
- University and TAFE staff
- People wanting to learn more about or support social enterprise
- Procurement officers
- Sustainability officers

What to expect:
- Welcome and social enterprise sector updates from SECNA
- Community asks and offers - each guest is given an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves/their organisation and then share one ask and/or offer of the community e.g. ‘we’re looking for warehouse space for refurbished items’ / ‘we’re experts in circular design and are happy to answer questions’ / ‘we're wanting to find a social enterprise to run our events’
