Join us for Business Hunter’s next Energy and Resources Lunch as we spotlight the women shaping the future of mining—right here in the Hunter.

Our keynote speaker, Hope Mulvihill, is the 2025 NSW Exceptional Woman in Mining and Operations Manager at Glencore. With deep operational expertise and a clear vision for industry leadership, Hope has overseen complex site operations, driven cultural change, and mentored the next generation of talent. Her award recognises her outstanding contributions across workforce development, safety, and regional performance.

Hope will be joined by:

• Phoebe Thomas, Production Manager at BHP’s Mt Arthur Coal. Beginning her mining journey as a rehabilitation consultant, Phoebe’s rapid rise through BHP saw her lead site-wide health initiatives before stepping into production leadership. She was recognised in 2021 with the Newcrest Exceptional Young Woman in Australian Resources Award for her innovation, mentorship, and advocacy for gender equity in mining.

• Renata Roberts, Chief Corporate Services Officer at Bloomfield Group. A transformational leader in workforce wellbeing and cultural inclusion, Renata has spent her career championing diversity and operational excellence in mining. She was named Australia’s Exceptional Woman in Resources in 2020, and continues to lead national conversations on safety, skills, and future workforce strategy.

Together, they’ll share their career insights, challenges, and vision for a stronger, more inclusive resources sector during a panel Q&A.
