Business Hunter Energy Transition Mini Series - Pumped Hydro
Event description
Business Hunter’s popular Energy Transition Mini-Series is back again on May 21, with the focus shifting from hydrogen and offshore wind to pumped hydro.
With projects being developed in the Hunter by Idemitsu at Muswellbrook Coal, and by Turnbull Renewables at Glenbawn and Glennies Creek dams outside Scone and Singleton, this alternate source of renewable energy and firming capacity will play an increasingly important role in our new energy economy.
Business Hunter is pleased to offer an opportunity for the business community to learn from leading experts and advocates in the pumped hydro industry and aligned sectors about:
- Supply opportunities
- Commercial prospects available and barriers to entry
- Community acceptance and advocacy.
