Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds immense potential to revolutionise the way businesses operate. It promises to enhance efficiency, improve decision-making, and unlock new opportunities for innovation. The transformative power of AI lies in its ability to analyse vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions with a level of accuracy that surpasses human capabilities.

However, in Australia there is scepticism about realising the business value of AI while we are all scrambling to solve the productivity crisis that sees Australian businesses operating at 2015 productivity levels. To quote some of the organisations we have spoken to …

“We are finding it difficult to validate and justify the value of AI in our business.” - CIO.

“We are not sure if this gamble is going to pay off. We are way ahead of the game when compared to our peers, but the benefits are hard to articulate.” - Automation Manager of a large partner led firm.

“We don’t know how to get started?” – CFO

“How can I leverage AI to increase productivity and avoid having to replace staff.” - CFO.

So what’s working and what’s not? In this session we will put AI & GenAI into context, explore practical use cases that have delivered results, and discuss methodologies and approaches that can lead to harvestable value. Treating AI as a process transformation tool is the secret sauce. Combine AI with Intelligent Automation (IA) and you will unlock a super-power: do more with less, improve job satisfaction and create an unfair advantage in your market.

Simply put, AI plus IA can significantly increase shareholder value.

About the speakers:

Brad Woollett, CEO, Definiti, will provide an overview of how to view the AI opportunity in business.

Tony Roupell, Head of Automation & AI, Definiti, will discuss the pragmatic approach to process transformation referencing use cases and case studies involving AI & Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
