    Event description

    Are you looking to strengthen the culture in your business? Or are you interested in ways you can improve your leadership to set your team up for success?

    Following the success of this event in Christchurch we are delighted to bring Kea World Class New Zealand award winner Kaila Colbin to Auckland for this exclusive leadership event designed specifically for Kea Connect customers and MSME business leaders.

    Kaila Colbin is the founder and CEO of Boma and a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. She is a renowned and sought after international public speaker, having presented to more than 25,000 people about the exponential technological trends coming our way and how we can be more intentional, intelligent and courageous about the future. Kaila spearheaded the hugely successful SingularityU New Zealand and Australia summits and was formerly the curator and licensee for TEDxChristchurch in New Zealand and TEDxScottBase in Antarctica. She is a co-founder and trustee of the non-profit Ministry of Awesome and has extensive governance experience, including serving as chair of the New York-based Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, and deputy chair of ChristchurchNZ and CORE Education Ltd. She also works with the Christchurch Crusaders to promote a positive team culture through sport.

    This October, in partnership with Kea, Kaila will host a 90 minute workshop which will focus on key leadership skills for business owners and team leaders including;

    • An introduction to leadership – what does it mean to be a leader?
    • Toxic culture vs. healthy culture
    • What does it take to build a high performing team?
    • Why it’s never too early to put good leadership practises into place

    This event is perfect for all business owners no matter the size of your business, but is particularly aimed at those MSME’s who want to get the edge in a competitive environment and startup founders who want to ensure accelerated growth within their business doesn’t create a toxic team culture.

    Following Kaila’s talk you will have the opportunity to ask questions so please come prepared. At the conclusion of the event, there will be time for networking. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided.
