BTA and WBTA Joining Forces (Merger)

Why

• Representation: WBTA members want to maintain a strong voice in the Fleurieu region, and merging with BTA ensures they will continue to be supported.
• Preserving Identity: WBTA’s distinct character and events, such as their networking opportunities and Tour Down Under celebrations, will remain integral to the newly expanded organisation.
• Stronger Together: Combining resources and memberships will allow us to create a more impactful association, offering increased value and benefits to all members.

Next Steps

• Constitution Update: A member vote will be held at a later date, following feedback from members, to update our constitution and formally include the expanded area.

The merger will enable us to better support the local business and tourism communities across Aldinga, Willunga, and surrounding areas. Our goal is to bring together the best of both organisations while preserving what makes each unique.
